Annie Idibia, a Nollywood actress, has responded to critics who have slammed her husband, legendary singer 2Face Idibia, over his birthday message to her.
According to Naija News, the actress turned 38 on Sunday, November 13th, and her hubby celebrated on social media.
However, the artist received harsh criticism from fans after delivering a birthday greeting that was “devoid of love emoji and tenderness.”
He had captioned his post: “birthday blessings my Queen. Nothing do u” with a photo of Annie shared on his page.
Some admirers claim that Annie goes over and above to post heartwarming comments on social media in honour of 2face’s birthdays, while others defend him, claiming that he is a man of few words who can only express himself via his music.
Responding to the criticism in the post’s comments section, Annie, who looked unconcerned with 2Baba’s brief birthday greeting, stated that she is officially deaf to doubters.
She wrote: “I’m officially deaf to naysayers. My Mine. Love you, dear Mr Innocent Idibia.”
