AFCON 2023: Super Eagles advance to finals, win 4-2 on penalties against South Africa

Nigeria’s Super Eagles went to the final of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast, defeating South Africa’s Bafana Bafana 4-2 on penalties on Wednesday.

Jose Peseiro, the head coach, made only one change to the side that faced Angola: Osayi-Samuel replaced Zaidu.

Egyptian referee Amin Mohamed Omar will officiate the match.
